About Me
I started making decals for professional model builders and serious hobbyists in 2008. Since then, I've made more than 250 sets of decals in all scales for Indy cars, sprint cars, stock cars and vintage race cars of all kinds.
A few samples of models built with my decals will be found in the GALLERY page. And, yes... the photo above is a model. It was built by Arizona modeler Juan Bello, using GWS CUSTOM DECALS, of course
I decided to launch Circle Track Decals so that I can offer some of the decals I've created over the years in a print on demand format. Available decals can be previewed and ordered on the INDY CAR and SPRINT CAR DECALS pages.
Of course, GWS CUSTOM DECALS will always be around to create decals by special order. Information about ordering GWS CUSTOM DECALS will be found HERE.
Finally, the MISC. DECALS page has a few goodies to help builders create even more interesting models. Not much there yet, but more will be coming soon.

About Circle Track Decals
Circle Track decals are printed on clear decal film on blue backing paper, just like the decals found in most commercial model kits.
The major difference is that my decals are created using a two step process. The color portion of the decal is printed with a high resolution laser printer capable of printing many, many more colors than the human eye can distinguish.
But decals on clear film are semi-transparent and can change color (or even disappear completely) when placed on the model. To solve this problem, I use an opaque white layer as a base for the color decal. The base layer completely blocks the underlying color.
The work in progress photo (above left) shows a a 2018 Indy car model with an intense black and metallic magenta paint scheme. As you can see, the white base decals completely block the dark colors.
The photo at right shows the same model with the decal work completed. All of the logos are bright and crisp with no color change or bleed-through.
As this 1/18 scale model by Stu Benford demonstrates, the results of the two-step process are spectacular.
Every model on the gallery page was created with this process
